Almost a month of work & weekend trips (for Sanne & me) and full holiday (for my parents) in Oman. It was beautiful, the country as well as the chance of being able to do this magic trip with my parents!
Workation in European winter in Muscat Oman – the summary:
🍚 Multicultural: Arab vibes, but sometimes more India / Pakistan / Bangladesh – that’s where most of the people we came in contact with are from!
🐪 Deserts, hiking & wild camping in weekends
🛫 Good connections from Europe & tons from UAE
☀️ 23 degrees Celsius and sunny in January & February
🕛 3 hours ahead of CET time
🛜 Really good Internet & 5G in most places
🔌 Very stable electricity
💶 Expensive flat €1200 monthly (we shared with my parents), surprisingly cheap food: €3.00 street food meal (Biryani, rice & fish)
