This year, I started working with L&T Studio – 2 passionate young programmers (Lucas & Teun) who are studying computer sciences in Amsterdam. They help me automate processes for clients.
I describe what needs to be done, L&T do the coding and make sure everything runs smoothly on their servers, I do the testing and we go live. It’s a lot of fun working together and all 3 of us are learning a lot.
An example of a process we optimised: DeskGuru (Sanne) sends a PDF report to clients after each workstation assessment. Sanne used to create a new document and manually add various data like date, name & client. Then after a session, she sent it to clients via email.
Except for the writing of the report (of course), now the entire process (creating document with all necessary date, creating a PDF from a Google Doc & sending it to the right people after a session) is now automated using a mix of coding, open source software & N8N.
Is there something – probably boring but maybe fun – you do repeatedly that you think may be automated? Get in touch via bart@ordoabchao.eu!
