Sanne is an occupational therapist and ergonomist. She’s also my spouse! In 2022 she set up DeskGuru – to fully focus on online ergonomic workstation assessments. In a 45 minute session, she helps employees of her clients create a more pleasant working environment. At home or at the office.
She’s good (I’m objective: a near 5 star rating from 100+ clients on TrustPilot). I’m amazed by the many cool clients she’s amassed in just a few years! From multinationals like Arcadis, to big newspaper publishers like FD Mediagroep & NRC) and small boutique tech & law firms.
What I did
Among many other things:
- I created an online workspace with an overview of processes and all info we need from clients & leads (using Notion)
- I optimised and automated many processes (various tools)
- I implemented a task management system (Asana)
- I created a lead management system (using Apollo, Google Sheets & Notion)
And I’m also DeskGuru’s model for the website & blog posts 🤭…
I’m co-owner of DeskGuru. In 2023 and 2024 I spent about half my time helping out at the company. Now that most of the processes are optimised or automated and we have a healthy customer base, I spend less and less time working for DeskGuru.
The results
I’m not sure what my modelling work has contributed, but since I got seriously busy at optimising DeskGuru’s processes revenue has quadrupled on a yearly basis.
